Henk Prinsloo is originally from the beautiful region of The Overberg near
the southern most tip of South Africa and currently living in the United States.
This artist started with basic drawing in high school and later began drawing portraits in 1993.
In the years that followed, his focus shifted to specializing in oil painting. Recently, with the turn of the century, his love for portrait drawing was revived. Although employed as a full-time computer programmer, art is his passion stretching beyond a hobby to a means of expression and communication. Henk has no formal training in art. The technique he uses is a crafted blend of personal study derived from books, methods used by other artists and his own creativity and sense of drawing.
